Update PrimaKu old website to the new one!

Role
UI/UX Designer.

Mission
Revamp PrimaKu’s Website.

Overview
The apps revamped,
but not with the website.

From my last project improving PrimaKu apps (and explanation about what is PrimaKu), PrimaKu’s website not updated (design on the left one) to the new one. With that, PrimaKu wanted to revamp their website as well.

In this project my role mostly in design, the key message of what users are looking for is still coming from insights 1 & 2 (find out here).

Design Process
The journey!

From getting to know what PrimaKu wants until the website is live, I did all these steps:

Process 1
Benchmarking

Since the deadline was tight enough, I did benchmark from direct competitors to get to know better about what actually users usually see from a website.

I got all the matrix from brainstorming with the stakeholders to know what they really want to get from building a website. And from that I got:
“We want potential users know what we are doing, what we can help them, and to make users download and use our apps.”

Process 2
Key Information & Architecture

From benchmark and insights I got from previous project, I tried to find the key information for the website, and it is: “Potential users need to know PrimaKu is a platform that users can rely on, because PrimaKu offers a very important solution on child's growth tracking solution.”

After that, I tried to put what information that PrimaKu needs in their website. PrimaKu website contains:

  • Home: a must, short explanation in what, why, and who is PrimaKu.

  • Simulation: we want user to experience the solution we can give.

  • PrimaKu’s Feature: showcase all the features in the apps.

  • And last one article for addtional information to users and also for the SEO.

The main target for the website is parent–the potential users, in homepage PrimaKu wants to show first who are we, the 3 main features that users really love & use, why users need us, and to get their trust we put the testimonial from users and also media coverage, and last but not least another CTA for users to download PrimaKu.

Besides the 3 main features, PrimaKu also wants to give information that “we have another features that can help users”. So, in this page, showcasing other features so users will know this apps can help them in one stop.

Retrospective
What I learn from the project

Since the project needs to be done fast, it was a 3 weeks project, so If I had more time, I’d have conducted concept testing on what potential users really wants to make them convince & download PrimaKu apps.
